Regular Game Play
Shootout
Sudden Death Overtime

Penalties/ Infractions
Suspensions
- Games consist of 2 - 15 minute periods and 1 - 20 minute period.
Shootout
- 3 shooters per team, if still tied, teams will rotate shooters until there is a winner
- Players are only allowed 1 attempt to score until all players on that team have been used
- Players with time remaining in a penalty at the end of overtime are ineligible to participate in the shoot out.
- This does not include players serving a penalty for an ejected player
Sudden Death Overtime
- 5 minutes of sudden death overtime will be played
- 3 on 3 plus goalies
- If tied after 5 minutes a shootout will occur
Forfeits
- Teams must have a minimum 6 skaters to start a game.
- Teams with less than 6 players will be charged with a forfeit. This includes a $500 fine (league bond) that must be paid to the league before the team is allowed to play again.
Penalties/ Infractions
- All standard rules of hockey will be applied
- A player receiving 3 minor penalties in a single game will be ejected for the remainder of that game **if 3rd penalty is coincidental, that player will not be ejected**
- Stick infractions will result in a 4 minute penalty
- Body contact will result in a 2 minute penalty **Deliberate body checking will result in a 5 minute penalty, a game misconduct. and a 3 game suspension. This includes open ice hits or contact along the boards**
- Slew Footing will result in a double minor penalty if the player is stationary
- Slew Footing while in motion will result in a match penalty
Suspensions
- Fighting - 1st fight = 5 game suspension, 2nd fight = suspension for the remainder of the season & playoffs
- Gross misconducts/ infractions written up by a referee will result in a suspension. After review of the incident the length of the suspension will be decided on by the referee-in-chief.
- There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding abuse of officials.
